The Waters of Mormon
The Kaye Starr Singers have performed across the country and around the world. This beautiful musical piece was written and arranged by the groups founder, Kaye Starr Heninger of Layton, Utah. The music is accompanied by beautiful photographs of Big Spring, Missouri, the largest natural spring in North America and a proposed location for the "Waters of Mormon" in the Heartland Book of Mormon Geography Model. The spring issues forth some 285,000 gallons of water per day on average with maximum flows of up to 1.2 million gallons per day. The water is an electric blue partially due to its high mineral content, as is seen in lakes fed by glaciers. The scene here is surreal at times and Native Americans still come each year to this sacred location for their pow-wow's and ceremonies.
