There is so much breaking news about the importance of the Heartland Model of Geography in North America. The Lord is truly fulfilling His promise that says, “How long can rolling waters remain impure? What power shall stay the heavens? As well might man stretch forth his puny arm to stop the Missouri river in its decreed course, or to turn it up stream, as to hinder the Almighty from pouring down knowledge from heaven upon the heads of the Latter-day Saints.” D&C 121:33

Could the recent evaluation of Michigan copper add value to the knowledge base from heaven, which we are receiving from Latter-day Saints? Very possible, read below.

Just think about the quote in red above. In these very last days the Lord is saying that He will send down KNOWLEDGE from HEAVEN utilizing the Latter-day Saints. Through the Lords Saints in this true Church of Jesus Christ, special knowledge is being sent from heaven through amazing patriots like: Rod Meldrum, Dean Sessions, Wayne May, Russ Barlow, Hannah Stoddard and Family, John Lefgren, Mike and Betty Lafontaine, and many others.

Think of all the new truths that the world did not know until the following saints shared previously unknown or misunderstood information about truth in these last days:

What truth we learn or clarify from each of these People:
Rod Meldrum: North America is indeed the land of the Book of Mormon as the Promised Land
Dean Sessions: There is no magma theory of the Earth and the Great Flood occurred world-wide in about 2345 BC.
Russ Barlow: Dinosaurs lived during the time of Adam
Hannah Stoddard: Joseph Smith is the leader of this Last Dispensation of Time and was not part of an occult.
Jonathan Neville: There is One Hill Cumorah and Two Sets of Plates
Wayne May: There is archeological evidence of artifacts, writings, breastplates, mounds and more that prove the possibility of the Nephites living in North America.
Mike & Betty LaFontaine: There is veracity in knowing that the route of the Phoenicia Ship in 2009 made possible the that Lehi could have made this same route to America (Florida) from Oman.
John Lefgren: Michigan Copper was used by 80% of the world and only in Michigan is copper as pure as .9999%. This copper was very likely to have traveled from Michigan on Phoenician ships and Jaredite ships to the Old World most notably during the Bronze Age.

There are certainly truths coming from many members of the Church whether they believe in the Heartland, Mesoamerica or any other theory on geography, but I am simply sharing my opinion on these matters.

Stunning New Research: Did Michigan Copper Fuel the Bronze Age?

It seems so important to me that the State of Missouri and especially the area in Jackson and Daviess Counties, are crucial places in North America. Here are my latest conjectures about these amazing location’s in Missouri:

1-Ondi-Ahman was in Daviess County, MO and 3 years before Adam died he gathered his posterity to this region as the Ancient of Days. D&C 116
2-The New Jerusalem will be in Independence MO as it says in Ether 13:2.
3-We believe Adam was placed near Independence MO as the first man on earth.
4-The Great Madrid Earthquake happened in New Madrid, MO in 1811 to 1812. Book Here: 
5-Joseph Smith sent the first missionaries to Buffalo, NY, Sandusky, OH, and near Independence, MO
6-In Independence Joseph said this was Zion and the Land of gathering and is the “center place” of Zion.
7- Likely the 4 rivers that led out of the Garden of eden were the Missouri, Upper Mississippi, Lower Mississippi and the Ohio rivers. The head of Sidon was in this land near the Garden of Eden.

9-There are located in Missouri, Iowa and Illinois many Native America Mounds, and pottery dated during the Nephite timelines of 300 BC to 400 AD.

None of the above events happened in Mesoamerica, South America, or anywhere else outside of this “Choice Land” of the Heartland of North America.

I believe the best evidence of the geography are the words “Promised Land” or “Chosen Land.” Yes all lands have special importance, but I believe the Lord chose North America to bring about the restoration in this last dispensation.

In D&C 28, 30, and 32, the Lord went with the missionaries to the Lamanites. Parley P Prat said the first mission to the Lamanites was in NY, OH, and MO. The Lord said, “And Ziba Peterson also shall go with them; and I myself will go with them and be in their midst; and I am their advocate with the Father, and nothing shall prevail against them. (See D&C 32:3) Where is it referring to when it is mentioned Promised Land or mission to the Lamanites etc.? Greenland, Brazil, Guatemala, Ontario, anywhere in the “Americas”? No land is better than any other land, but the Lord Himself “chose” the areas of America for Eden, Adam-Ondi-Ahman, SLC, NY Cumorah and more. It is fine wherever you think the geography began. We are all entitled to our own opinions.

Elder Perry said, “The United States is the promised land foretold in the Book of Mormon—a place where divine guidance directed inspired men to create the conditions necessary for the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ.” Elder L. Tom Perry Ensign Dec. 2012.

Also, Gordon B. Hinckley said, “I should like to say a few words about America…. No land is without its beauty, no people without their virtues, and I hope that you who come from elsewhere will pardon my saying a few words concerning my own native land, America. I know that she has problems. We have heard so much of them for so long. But surely this is a good land, a choice land, a chosen land. To me it is a miracle, a creation of the Almighty….” Gordon B. Hinckley, Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled 1974.

And, President Monson said, “The Lord gave a divine promise to the ancient inhabitants of this favored country (the United States): ‘Behold, this is a choice land, and whatsoever nation shall possess it shall be free from bondage, and from captivity, and from all other nations under heaven, if they will but serve the God of the land, who is Jesus Christ” (Ether 2:12). Our Heavenly Father inspired the leaders of…the United States of America, that they might together, under His direction, having been raised up by God for the purpose, establish the Constitution of this country and…Bill of Rights, that by the year of our Lord 1805 [there would be] a climate where our Heavenly Father could send into this period of mortality a choice spirit who would be known as Joseph Smith, Jr.” Teachings of Thomas S. Monson by Thomas S. Monson 2011.

Lastly, Joseph Smith said while on Zions Camp in 1834 in Illinois on the banks of the Mississippi River, “The whole of our journey, in the midst of so large a company of social honest and sincere men, wandering over the plains of the Nephites, recounting occasionally the history of the Book of Mormon, roving over the mounds of that once beloved people of the Lord, picking up their skulls & their bones, as a proof of its divine authenticity…” Joseph Smith Papers Letter to Emma Smith, 4 June 1834 Page 56. I love all people and all Lamanites, wherever they live, but in my opinion the Book of Mormon events began in the Heartland of America, and through war, marriage, migration, or other causes, many parts of South and Central America and the world in general, may possibly also have the blood of Father Lehi. But, I believe it began in America. I know the Church is neutral on this subject, which I appreciate, but for me, the beginning was in this Promised Land of America.

The quotes above and the new information about the importance of copper from Michigan and Lake Superior, just adds secondary evidences of the importance of North America in the Book of Mormon.
