Dear friends and associates,
It is with deep gratitude that, today I am announcing our new program to help support all who have participated in our events and subsequent streaming website through your research and presentations.
For many years we have been blessed to hold events that allowed tens of thousands of truth seekers to learn more about the Book of Mormon and other related subjects. During that time, I wished more people could see the amazing and inspiring presentations that were being shared at the conferences that we had been recording. All these wonderful presentations were just being stored in hard drives that were doing nothing to help anyone. There are so many people whose lives would be blessed by these faith-sustaining presentations if they could be made available 24/7 on a streaming website like an LDS version of Netflix.
With that goal in mind, I began the process of having a website created and videos uploaded which had to be edited beforehand from the raw conference footage. This process has taken nearly two years and many hundreds of hours of website development and video work.
You are receiving this email because you are one of our beloved and valued presenters and now, we are thrilled to be able to let you know about this new compensation program!
Beginning October 1, 2021 (last year) we have been able to access the analytics of the rebuilt Book of Mormon Evidence streaming website and are excited to offer this affiliate compensation program to all of you, in an effort to support you in your research efforts.
Outline of the Program
This affiliate compensation program is based in part on the program of another popular and successful LDS streaming website which we feel to be fair and sustainable.
Subscription funds will be distributed generally as outlined below.
30% Website Administration
30% Marketing
30% Content Providers (YOU!)
10% Profit
What does this mean to you?
Compensation!
Each quarter, incoming funds from subscriptions will be totaled and 30% of the total will be allocated to pay our presenters.
Using Google Analytics, we now know how many times our subscribers have viewed the streaming online presentations. A “view” is accounted as someone watching a substantial portion of a video presentation.
The formula is simple, the total amount of the subscription funds allocated to the affiliate program will be divided by the total number of views for the quarter. This gives a value per view, which can then be applied to individual video views.
Each presenter will be compensated for the total number of views resulting from all their videos in a given quarter. Payment checks will be sent out quarterly for every presenter that meets a minimum of 20 views per quarter.
Presenters can choose to participate or not to participate in the compensation program. If you choose to be a part of the program, all we need is a W-9 “request for Taxpayer Id” form filled out and sent to us for tax purposes. These can be downloaded free on irs.gov . Or you will also find one attached to this email. If you choose not to receive compensation from the program, those funds will be reallocated to marketing of the streaming website for the good of everyone else in our ecosystem.
An Example…
Currently we have close to 1,000 subscribers that average about $10 per month for their subscriptions, or about $10,000 per month.
Assuming $10,000 is received from subscriptions per month for the quarter ($10,000/month x 3 months).
30% Administration = $9,000
30% Marketing = $9,000
30% Affiliate Program = $9,000
10% Profit = $3,000
Total views for the quarter = 4,000
$9,000 Affiliate Program ÷ 4,000 views = $2.25 per view for the quarter.
Presenter #1 had 500 views x $2.25 = $1,125 check for the quarter.
Presenter #2 had 100 views x $2.25 = $225.00 check for the quarter.
Presenter #3 had 20 views x $2.25 = $45 check for the quarter.
Presenter #4 had less than 20 views and will not receive any compensation for the quarter but is always eligible to receive compensation in any quarter having more than 20 views.
Obviously as we grow the website together, we will all benefit from the additional subscriptions and funds, along with the most important goal of sharing all this incredible content with tens, if not hundreds of thousands of our fellow saints!
Imagine our reach if we had 10,000 or 100,000 subscribers! You will be a part in that success! Encourage everyone you know to watch your presentation – and all the other presentations as well – on the streaming website for less than $10 a month and watch your income grow along with that of every other speaker in our conferences! Together everyone is blessed!
With all the craziness going on with Covid and inflation and unrest and upheaval we hope and pray to offer some good news for the New Year – and help – for those who have made sacrifices to do the research and share their insights and findings to bless the lives of others.
