Chauncey C Riddle is a Professor Emeritus of Philosophy from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is a religious leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has written many articles for the Ensign, Sunstone Magazine, and BYU Studies. He has also written countless articles and has published the milestone book entitled, “Think Independently,” that everyone should read.
Some Things to Know About “The Great and Abominable Church”
- It is found among every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, and covers the whole earth.
- It is operated under the direct control of Satan.
- It has its own temples, ordinances, and priestly vestments.
- It has its own gospel, which is taught everywhere and is believed by most of the educated and by many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- It tries to either capture or drive out every other church and is very close to doing so.
- It fosters abortion, artificial birth control, and euthanasia.
- It tries to destroy the Ten Commandments and Christian standards.
- It pretends to be like a democracy but it is actually totalitarian.
- It is the most influential force in the world.
- It is in your face every day of the world.
But almost no one talks about it. Most people do not realize it exists. But it is doing the task God has assigned it to do and makes the blessings of the New and Everlasting Covenant possible to be received and enjoyed for everyone who deliberately rejects it in favor of Faith in Jesus Christ.
